Sicily: Precision Coaching in the World’s Flattest Water

Located between Trapani and Marsala, Lo Stagnone is arguably the best flat-water spot in Europe. It is a massive, shallow lagoon protected from the open sea, making it the ultimate «training lab» for the Rebels Kitecamp.

The Wind & Climate:

Sicily benefits from two main winds: the Tramontana (North) and the Scirocco (South). This dual-wind system ensures rideable days throughout the spring and summer. During our camps (May–September), temperatures are a balmy 25-30°C. The water is shallow (0.5m to 1.5m), meaning it stays warm and, most importantly, provides a massive safety net for practicing new moves.

The «Rebels» Progression Lab:

No Chop, Just Pop: The water is so flat you can see your own reflection. This allows for total focus on your edge and pop without the interference of waves.

Historical Backdrop: Ride past ancient salt windmills and the island of Mozia. It’s a surreal experience kiting through a UNESCO-worthy landscape.

Aperitivo Culture: After the «Expression Session,» we head to the local bars for a glass of Marsala wine and our traditional sunset picnic.

Don’t just kite. Master the sport in the most efficient environment on earth.
